Ormoc CDRRMO joins the celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2025

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 137 s. 1999 which declared the month of July as the National Disaster Consciousness Month, renamed as the National Disaster Resiliency Month by virtue of Executive Order No. 29 s. 2017, the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of the City of Ormoc joins the celebration promoting and advocating for disaster resilience and proactive planning and preparation for potential disasters, totally shifting away from passive awareness.
This month-long celebration serves as an avenue to seek further action and capacity in Disaster Prevention, Preparedness, Response and Rehabilitation and Recovery, with this year's theme: "KUMIKILOS - Para sa Kahandaan, Kaligtasan at Katatagan!"
The Ormoc CDRRMO shall continue to equip itself with more technical expertise and equipment to make it better geared to address the 4 Thematic Areas of DRRM with the ultimate goal of making Ormoc City a more prepared and resilient City.
